This is a square, gray pinata, with pieces of paper glued on the front and back that look like they came from a standard home printer. The kids were mildly interested, but I am a complete chump for paying $20. Don't make the same mistake.

Even though this is called a "pinata", it is actually a cardboard box with a big sticker on the front to make it look like a stereo system.
If you like the look of this, I do not suggest buying it. I suggest you go and get a a cardboard box, and then put some construction paper on the front to make it look like a stereo system.
The fact that this is made of thick cardboard means it is not going to fall apart or be broken up like a regular pinata should. To get the candy out, we almost had to cut open the box. This was no fun for the people at the birthday party!
1 star for selling a cardboard box and calling it a "pinata"!

I bought this piñata for my son's 90's themed 10th birthday (Yeah, my son is that special)I had been searching all over for a boombox piñata in coordinating neon colors. When I saw this one I just had to have it. It is a cute piñata that holds lots of candy and toys. It's not shown in the picture, but it says Yo Gabba Gabba in the back. I didn't have a problem covering it up with neon pink cover stock and added a nice WE HEART THE 90's sign with neon letter stickers. I have to say that this is the sturdiest piñata I've ever seen in my life, and that might be a good thing...or not, actually that's the reason why I didn't give it 5 stars. It's made of really hard cardboard, which means it's not one of those piñatas you bash open, But it doesn't have a pull string either, so how the heck are you supposed to break it? My son hit it with a piñata stick...really hard, but in the end my husband had to dig a hole in the side a tear it open so the...Read more
