I got this horse as a keepsake for my son's birthday party. It's easy to write on with any color. We used thin sharpies; they worked well and the marker didn't bleed at all. I am glad I got this as a keepsake, but I keep it put away on a shelf because I don't think it is durable enough to be used as a toy.

It is very cute but waaaay too small and tiny overall for more than three people to write or sign anything on it. I bought it for a small birthday party for a friend and didn't even put it out because there was no room for everyone to sign and we were only seven people. Wish they would make them bigger because it is very cute.

This looks much cuter in the picture than in person. The color is not gray, but more an olive green color. It looks bigger in the picture than it actually is. The red bandanna broke off when I tried to adjust it. Some stuffing is already wanting to come out of the seams or is sticking out of the seams. Just not the quality or size I had hoped for.
