The chin straps snap off very easily. They wouldn't stay on the heads of the children. Quality is very poor. If you end up risking it and buying these anyway, you'll need to re-secure each individual strap with additional tape/staples.

Bought these party hats for my son's birthday. We tore open the packge excited to put our party hats on, and the very first thing that happens - I get snapped in the face by a broken strap. The chin straps are barely fastened on by some ancient looking tape - all brown, dry and crusty. All of the other hats' straps were hanging loose at one end. Wound up stapling the strings on myself; praying they don't pop off and injure someone. Next time, I'm going to Wal-Mart. Not worth the money!
