There are basically two types of these solar flowers. One, the "flip flop" brand, and the others that are a little bigger and less responsive to light. I have bought eight of these FLIP FLOP solar flowers and EVERY ONE works great and responds well to room lighting. The FLIP FLOP are a little bit smaller than other brands, but much more cute. And they work great. I recommend ordering at least four, because you will become addicted to solar dancing flowers. And remember, get the FLIP FLOP brand !!! Far superior and responsive to various lighting conditions.

Mine has been dancing on my school bus dashboard since the 1st day of school. I ordered these as xmas gifts to give to my fellow drivers. Always brings smiles. The toy and a piece of packing tape and you will be set. I will offer to install them for my friends.

This solar flower for the car is very cute. I get lots of comments on it. It just sits on my dashboard and dances in the sun. Makes me smile every day the sun is out. Great value, it is very sturdy and seems like it will last.
