Plastic Ice Cream Dishes

I bought these ice cream cups as part of a goody bag for my 2 yr old's birthday party. The kids that received them loved them. They thought they were the coolest thing. I have been using them at home for my 3 girls and I run them in the dishwasher and they work great! Very cute and durable, excellent price!

These are adorable ice cream dishes! I remember a friend of mine had these when we were little and I was always jealous of them. I was thrilled to receive this set recently. They're a good size, just enough for a good scoop and toppings but without being too big which can encouraged you to over eat. I put them in the dish washer too and they come out fine (I say this because I can't remember if they specify that they're dish washer safe or not). Great for people with kids or just those of us who like to have interesting, matching dish sets.

I ordered two sets of these for my daughter's 6th birthday party. The theme was "Ice Cream." I sent out invitations with, "I Scream, You Scream, Mairead Screams...for Ice Cream." I washed out all 24 bowls and spoons, then washed again after they were used and put whichever color the child preferred into their goody bag with a dangling decoration, a glow stick prize (everyone wins at "Pin the Cherry on the Sundae"), and if the child chose not to wear their sand art Ice Cream Cone necklace, the necklace, too.

The bowls are very sturdy and wash well in the dishwasher. I only used the top shelf. Several spoons have a couple of brown small marks that I haven't been able to get off. They are not raised, so they may be part of the plastic. I noticed this only on some of the orange spoons. Hence only 4 stars--the spots aren't a big deal, but the bowls and spoons are not perfect.... (I will upload a photo.)
