LED Light Up Fan

I purchased this LED fan Sept.15th of this year. It's used a minimum of 20 minutes a day. It's main attribute is the light show. The air flow is adequate provided its placed (or held) within 15 in. of your face. The fan will sit upright by itself on a hard, level surface. It's relaxing just watching all the different color patterns it offers. I always use rechargeables in it. Once I notice the green and/or the blue LEDs start to fade (in intensity), I change to 3 freshly charged AAAs. I'm not sure how well it would hold up in the hands of a child. It's well worth what I paid for it (less than 6.00 total). I am glad I purchased it & plan on buying another for a realative.

As much fun as these could be, they should really only be sold for $1 because they don't last long. They are very flimsy, come in packaging that looks like they've been sitting in a warehouse since the '80's, and the entire thing was broken after my kids used it for an hour.

I was looking for a fan, not a toy. This is very pretty, but not worth much as a fan.
