Having bought a pirate costume without a hat, I was looking for one and found this value. It is a bit small, but does fit my little 3 yr old. Seems sturdy enough to withstand his rough play. The skull and crossbones sticker is not going to stay on the hat for long.

This hat is TINY... it fits width wise but the hat is so shallow that it will not stay on my 3 year old's head. His head measures in the 60th percentile so it is not that he has a gigantic head. I'm going to have to go and get him a new hat for Halloween because the second that my son moves his head this thing falls off.
Too small but my boy likes it.,

You get what you pay for with this hat. It is too small for my 3-year old head and he is considered below average in height and weight. It will not fit snug on head. My boy likes wearing it with his pirate costume so if it is okay with him it is okay for me.
