For a plastic ring??? these are very quality. heavy/sturdy plastic, arrived one week from the afternoon I ordered them. They are for my daughter's 3rd birthday cupcakes at daycare, but my son is four and had to wear them all too immediately-on their fingers and toes. It was very exciting and we haven't even made cupcakes yet :) Yes, I will be washing them thoroughly before use! They'd make a good toy for gift bags or something too.
