Disney Fairytale Princess Heart Pull-String Pinata

was great for a rainy day birthday party. it held up and was just as fun for both the boys and the girls. the girls loved the princess factor and the boys could hardly wait in anticipation for the candy to drop. also, very easy to clean up.

This thing is pretty big and holds a lot of candy. I've never used a pinata for a birthday before, only whacked at regular pinatas at birthday parties when I was a kid so the concept of a string pulled pinata is totally new to me. I was apprehensive about it working properly but it did! It gets kind of heavy when filled with candy so we used a strong hook in the frame of wide door to hang it from. The directions say to not overload it. I guess because it can get really heavy. Since it was raining all day we held the party inside and it worked out great. Each kid took turns over and over pulling one string at a time until about the last string the pinata opened up and candy poured out. I had to shake it a bit to get all of it out but there was mayhem and chaos with princesses grabbing and pushing for candy! We were so very happy with our purchase! It looked just like what it showed on the computer. Very bright and colorful, very pretty! The kids loved pulling the strings, then you can still keep it when done! No one gets hurt from trying to beat it with a stick!
