I bought this set to decorate the interior of my camping van and would have run it from an inverter. The chili pepper style bulb covers are a lightweight plastic and they don't even fit the bulb holders - they are way too wide at the opening. Upon removing the light set, two covers simply fell off even though they appeared to have been glued on. My set is nothing other than utter garbage.

One of the bulbs burned out within about five minutes of usage. The string intermittently continues to flicker. I do not feel safe using these lights and have discarded the string.
