I bought these hats for my sons 5th birthday party. They are made of a thin....very thin almost construction paper like material that rips easily and runs a little big for small kids heads. But the novelty of it is fun and the kids enjoy them any way.

I know that people have been complaining about the quality of these cardboard pirate hats. But what do you expect for the money paid? They are cardboard after all. I got exactly what I expected and the kids at our son's 3rd birthday party loved them :) No complaints from my side.
