I bought this for my son, not as a birthday countdown, but a daddy countdown. His father is military and is TDY (away from home for work) quite a bit. Sometimes days, sometimes weeks, sometimes months. Anyway this is perfect for my 6 year old to keep track of when daddy will return. It's fairly easy to set the date and change the date. We have used it quite a bit and had no problems. Would recommend this product.
