This review is from: Aztec Imports Pink Pirate Crossbones Pinata (Toy) I was really excited to purchase this pinata for my daughter's 9th bday party. The theme of the party was girly pirate. This was the closest thing I could find that would match the rest of her party items. The kids were excited when they saw it as well. It looked pretty sturdy, but only 3 kids got to hit it. It broke open after the 2nd child hit it and we let the 3rd child hit it just so they got a turn. We still had 5 other kids that didn't get to hit it. So, it was kind of a bummer. The cardboard that it was made out of was very thin. The price that I paid for it, I think it should have been more durable. It looked good, but just didn't hold up as well as I thought it was going to. By = Durability: Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Aztec Imports Pink Pirate Crossbones Pinata (Toy) My 5 year old had a pirate/girl themed party and This is the only pirate girl pinata I found that is remotely adorable. We had about 12 kids (all 5 year olds, boys and girls) and each one must have had 3 turns (2 whacks each) before it broke apart. It's well made from a design standpoint and is not so sturdy that it is impossible to break apart like some of the other pinatas I've seen/had. The quality is just right for what a pinata is set to do. This pinata has no pull-strings if you are looking for one that comes with pull-strings. |
