This is more of a keepsake than a toy, it is to be used on a cake. It was just what I needed and my cake turned out real cute. The little girl that the cake was made for loved it. The topper came with a website for information on how to decorate your cake with the topper. It was very helpful. If I ever have to do a princess cake again, I will be sure to order another.

I needed to create a princess cake for my 4 year old daughter and was exploring different options. I came across these petite cake toppers. There are a few other princesses that one can buy as well. It's a plastic figurine that has a cylinder that one pushes into the cake and a flat circle that separates the cylinder vs. the top of the figurine (so one needs to be able to ice over the flat circle). Inside the cylinder, there are some stickers. There are also instructions on how to decorate the cake, including suggested colors and tip sizes. This doesn't include the pan that one will have to use in order to create the body. For that, one can buy a dome pan or stack 2 4" rounds and carve the cake, which is what I ended up doing. With the right tools, this isn't that hard to do (given that one is comfortable piping and making buttercream), but the item is a one trick pony unless you are creating the cake again and again. My daughter had a princess aurora birthday party. We did an Aurora cake and this topper was prefect. My 3 yr old daughter LOVED it!!! Only thing the topper isnt that big of a deal in the toy dept. She enjoyed the stickers I believe that was in the topper and loved the cake but that was it. Still worth the price to see her face when she saw her birthday cake tho.
