Too expensive for what you get,

I truly believe this item is ridiculously overpriced because it's very hard to find "Rio" birthday party items out there. So, when you find this cake toppers, you get overly excited. This is definitely not a good buy. Don't waste your money!! The "toppers," as they call these 2 birds, are seriously not worth more than $2.

First off, read the description WELL--the total length of these birds is only a little over 5 inches, so that cake you see in the photo is BARELY a 1/4 sheet cake. Also note all you get are the two birds in a plastic bag. I knew that going in so I ordered them but I have to say now that I have them the quality of the paint job on these are sub-standard...if they were $2 like the other review said then they'd be worth it, but for the size and price they could be a LOT better. I have spots and streaks of black ink in several place on both birds and it doesn't scratch off.
Because of the limited number of Rio decos I doubt any review will actually turn you off (I know it didn't for me) but prepare yourself for some disappointment.

This topper made a wonderful addition to our cake. The birds are maracas and have been played with every day since the party. Well worth it!
