These 6" glow sticks have a glow time of 6+ hours and use dyed plastic on some colors. Each glow stick is individually retail wrapped and includes a neck string. The color of each glow stick is printed on the wrapper. The economy 6" glow sticks come in assorted colors and are packed 48 per box. The front side of these glow sticks are printed in German, the back in English, Spanish and a few other languages.

Summary: The light reward 2009-06-10
Comment: These sticks provide hours of fun for kids and at this price point are a great reward for a job - or day - well done by our five year old. And, they make a good night light so I can find our tyke under the covers.

As for educational value, that's not the specific point although I do consider learning about light sabers and Star Wars lore educational.

And, my husband using them for diving.

Comment: Bought these to orient directional drilling tools at night and they are AWESOME!!! Pretty funny when you show up on a drilling rig floor with a pink light. Great fun for everyone.
48 light sticks for $25 is really a good buy.

Comment: I love these things. No idea why there is a star value for educational value, but they are great fun to play with. I did have one break open on me though, but aside from a mark on my (already dirty) shirt that collected 'playa', it was pretty cool to have my hands glow.

If you need a bunch of light sticks, get these.

Comment: We bought these light sticks for my daughter who loves to have these when we spend time outside at night. They are individually wrapped and come with the signature red string to use as a lanyard. The various colors are all bright and vibrant.
Summary: Great for Halloween 2008-11-23
Comment: I purchased these sticks to hand out with candy on Halloween because we live on the dark part of the block. It is so great to see the kids running down the street with their little glow-sticks. Even the big kids were coming by our house & many parents thanked us for our thoughtfulness.
