Good product for kids under 5. Had a birthday party last weekend with 35 kids. The pinata buster worked fine until one of the older kids swung at a pinata and broke the buster in half. Luckily, we had another buster.

SUGGESTION: Just take a smooth narrow (light weight) wooden board (be sure it's free from splinters; Plane/sand it, if necessary), place a small-to-med. size "rubber-coated" screw at the very end. It works wonderfully! Just be sure to have a young adult around for supervision.
CONCEPT: The "screw" hooks onto the pinata and allows the small kids to do GREAT damage when they whack it! RIP...GRAB...GRAB!!!
Candies & small toys haven't a problem SPILLING EVERYWHERE!!! :-D
*P.S. I came up with this idea after seeing my little cousins & their small friends become disappointed at NOT being able to pop the pinata after numerous hits & whacks. They literally would tire themselves out with no REWARD!
Time after time an adult would have to leave the adult party to assist the young ones with getting their pinata to spill out the goodies!
That's "why" I came up with the above concept. Now, the little ones hit and RIP the pinatas (all by themselves). Usually after "two"...Read more

It's a pinata stick so there's not much to say - it's festive and the perfect size for the 3, 4 & 5 year olds that were whacking our pinata. Our stick held together fine but these are small children with not a lot of power behind them. For us it worked out great and we'll use it again at our next party - there always seems to be a pinata worked into these shin digs! The only negative I can think of is that the seven dollars and change they charge for this thing seems a bit steep. It's a stick with tissue paper on it!
