For the price I wasn't expecting much, from the reviews maybe a little bit more. I was expecting to be able to use these at least, and that's not going to happen! These lei's are nothing like the picture. The thin, flimsy one layer 'flowers' are very noticeably far apart and are on very thin strings (more like thick thread), each single one seperated by an 3/4" piece of a drinking straw. There are no way they would stand up to wearing more than very temporarily. They are also short, from top to bottom (layed out flat, not around) they only measure 18". They are also distributed by Oriental Trading Co, not whoever is listed above. Pure junk.

I ordered these leis for a wedding reception party. Our theme was Hawaiian since the happy couple had their ceremony in Hawaii. We greeted guests with a lei and told them that if they spoke the word "wedding", then whoever heard them could help themselves to their lei. It was a great icebreaker and everyone got into the spirit of the fun. These leis were soft and beautiful. Nothing like those cheap plastic ones. I highly recommend these leis.

The lei's were nice but after wearing them for so long if your moving around alot they start to unravel but i do like the way they look i actually performed doing hula shows and its pretty good quality for such a little price.
